I'm 15 years old and after being rushed to urgent care, I was told that I have a UTI and a yeast infection at the same time. Does anyone know anything to do to ease the symptoms in the time where the medicine has worn off but is too early to take another dosage?

Thanks!

My symptoms are burning, with or without urinating, pelvic pain, itching, and sharp stinging pains.

I'm on penicillin to actually treat it,
but I'm on Darvocet for pain.
It's highly addictive so my mom only lets me use it sparingly,
and when I do take it, it knocks me out within 15 minutes.

I don't know what medication they have given you for the pain but I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor's office thru the after hours line and let whoever is on call know that you are still in a lot of pain and want to see what other suggestions they might have.

In the mean time you can try taking a wet towel (like the size of a face towel) and have it in some cool water or get a bag of frozen peas (learned this from ladies on a list I'm on for vaginal and vulvar (the external genital area) to sit on to see if that helps ease some of the pain.
