I have 2 rows of data, in row 1 and 2. There are about 240 columns of it. I want row three to the the product of the two numbers above it (A3=A1*A2, B3=B1*B2....).
How can I do this for every column without typing the formula in for each?

Do I need Excel to do this? :(

type the formula in the first cell of column 3, then click the little black box at the lower right hand corner of the cell and drag downward. It will duplicate the formula all the way down, calculating the appropriate cells.

you dont need excel.
in cell A3
just type
=A1*A2

then copy A3
highlight B3 to the end (all 240 columns)
then click paste.
that will work.
