dog pee- stain?

my puppypeed on my shag rug. I cleaned it up but it seems like the carpet isstill stained yellow. What can I do?

seriously when our pup was being house trained we cleaned the spots with windex

A mixture of vingar and water works. If you use club soda when it first happens, you can avoid this.
