It's Christmas Eve and I'm having a small party this afternoon ... I'm an American living in Bangkok, Thailand and haven't had a traditional turkey diner in 3 years. I sprung big bucks for a huge American turkey ... stuffing and gravy ... cooked and delivered. Many of my Asian friends have never tasted turkey! This should be a lot of fun. Plus, I have a half keg of Heineken on tap.

Tonight Santa is coming and I'm awaiting the delight on my 3 year old daughter's face tomorrow morning.

FOOD, most definitely sticks out here. I have food to eat, a place to live, electricity, and God woke me up today so I could be able to enjoy it all. I do my best to thank God for that every day, because many people are not that fortunate. Not just for the material things, but for LIFE itself.

God bless.

All the bounty of our lives. And the two seconds that my son behaved with a modicum of respect...Oh, I don't think I'll make it through Winter Break with my voice intact....;)
