Rice refused to play causing a 15 game season 3 games with replacements. If Moss gets the record it will stand.

it will count, but rice's record will still be remembered because he did it in 12 games as you said in the strike year and also on less receptions. so moss will never dethrone rice as the greatest receiver.

It still counts...baseball increased the number of games and you dont cut it off at 148 or how many games they used to play......Thats just the way it goes
