Call the Admissions Office (or whatever office you've sent your app to) and tell them that you would like to change which semester you're applying for.
An e-mail might be helpful too. You can probably find the appropriate contact on the department's website.

I'd call the university's admissions office & clarify the mistake. They should be able to help you, & I doubt it'll be a major problem.

I would call and explain the error, and ask them if that would cause any problem. Assuming you are accepted, WHEN you start your studies should not make any difference.
