That happened to me a few days ago for the first time. Is this a common practice? I am 51 (I look younger) and he looked to be in his late 30s or early 40s.

Ms Crone, you NEVER know when or where a man will find you very alluring and attractive. I have met lovely women in grocery stores, the library, the laundromat, all sorts of places. Even New Age shops (LOL Morgana). And YES, Morgana's definitely a hottie. B esides, that's ONE of the wonderful benefits of having lost all that weight over the last few months. So, my advice to you is..... Enjoy it as much as you can and remember ALL the times that you WISHED that would have happenned before.
*walking around thinking. "Wow, so many HOT ladies and so little of me to go around" LOL

Different places at different times. Ever since i lost a whole bunch of weight, it's more common rather than before.
But I'm married with 2 kids, I'm just glad I'm getting noticed. Especially when it's the REAL cute ones, the ones that would never look my way before. Why? the guy was a major dog who looked like he didn't have $$, huh?

i have a lot of grocery experience! some good some not so much! i've got hit on by a little student working there one time, yeah fun :) and then another time im in the darn fruits aisle and this guy about 30 also getting fruit! reaches around my back to grab the fruit on the other side of me as hes close to me getting his stupid fruit, he smells me!!! asks me what im wearing cause i smell so good!! oh yes ladies, very hot!! HAH and then ive had a couple great ones like i mean wow....but the stupid part about that was those men were not, i repeat NOT in the same town!! pretty interesting thought tho!!

Way to go on attracting the younger guy!! I think it is pretty common...and there's nothing wrong with it! Think about all the people, men and women, you have a conversation with while shopping. People meet in all kinds of places and situations. And you have to meet men somewhere, right! It might as well be in the produce section, why not?!

Some men will try anything anywhere, My house was once robbed and the responding officer actually asked me out! There I was mortified, trying to see what was takena nd he asked me for my number, under regular circumstances I may have said yes but Jeezzz someone just went through my things give a girl a chance!!!!!

No, not at the grocery store, but on the bus. I am 52 he is 27. He said he thought I was in my 30's. What a compliment that was for me.

yes. It still happens occasionally, because I'm outgoing and I'm told I'm a hottie (ask Raji on that point, he and I have met, not in a grocery store, LOL!) It is sort of flattering, but I keep it in perspective. They are just out for a little poosy.

Yes but as you can see there are different levels, many times people talk to you at the store to be friendly, I like that. But if I sense a darker intention I'd stay away.

It happens everywhere... the grocery store, at the museum. The funniest one of all... right at the gas pumps!
