How would you like to go to a HS where there are 3000 kids in the school like I did. It was crazy out of control, too much. You get lost in the hallways!!!! You are not missing out on anything. Its not the size of the school that matters it what you can learn from teachers who will help you go on in life to a career and develope as an adult. A smaller school is perfect for that. If you think your missing out on parties and stuff ther were no parties in my school hardly at all, because knowbody knew if you went to the school or not until they graduated! Don't worry you will be just fine. Study hard and enjoy your life.

the only advantage to being in a big school is that not everyone knows you and your business. It makes it easier to be yourself, and everyone has more freedom to be who they want to be cuz there are more crowds to "fit" into. (theres more comformity than some teens like to admit).
If you're in a small school, you have the upper hand in education. There is probably less students per class, which allows the teacher to focus on each student. Im in a large school and some classes are jam-packed and difficult to manage. Thankfully, this year im in AP classes, so there are less students per class.
So the question is: do you care more about your social life or your education? which is more important to you?
I know socializing is important. trust me, i wish i could spend more time with my friends. But you will always have other means of socializing. Besides, in a small school, you still have ways of having fun. School isnt the only place to hang out.

I believe they are better...
They give the students more opprotunity to explore academia out side of the 6-7 subjects the state forces you to learn, small schools rarely offer any extra options.
I've relocated for the specific purpose of putting my daughter in a better school, because I actually care about her and her education, unlike your parents who only want you to have whats convient for them.
A small school hardly teaches the students anything. If you go to college after attending a little school it is SO MUCH HARDER because the others students around you are so much more prepared.
I hate that I went to school for 8 years to learn something that the local high schools teach their students in my new area (Graphic Design.)
With my degree I now know only as much as everybody else in my new community!
But on the good side, my daughter will have an awesome opprotunity to explore all kinds of different subjects.
These schools offer Visual Arts, Media (Including a weekly newspaper and a cable TV channel), Jazz band, marching band, and individual performing arts, Techonology, swim team, all kinds of different sports, several languages too choose from, Business, Sociology, psychology, drama etc...
And I'm not talking classes, I'm talking entire departments dedicated too these subjects that most small schools do not even offer!
It is definitely not fair too you.
They probably let u go to school there because they found a cheap house somewhere and care more about getting a big house for a low price than their own childrens education! (Thats what my parents did!)
Unfortunately in the future you will learn that people WILL SELL things we think of as invaluable, like their childrens education, all the time they would ever spend with their family, security and more for a low low price!
You should try to make your parents feel as guilty as they should for putting a price tag on your education and selling it to the highest bidder!
