If you had the choice to give $1,000 of your own money, no less, more if you want, to any charity, would you do it, and which charity would you give it to?

I feed the homeless, and poor,,,,and I am sure I spend more than a thousand dollars a year....If I were to take one thousand in one lump sum to give to a charity, I would adopt a poor family, stock up their pantry, and buy them new sheets and towel,,,,and personal products.....

If I had that kind of money to spare, then yes I would contribute. I would probably do it for St. Jude's children hospital research or some other charity for sick kids.
