Sadly, my parents never told me the story behind my name. It would have been nice to know why. Anyway my name is Robert, and I know that the name Robert means "Bright Fame". Maybe it was my destiny to do great things in this world? I am not sure. But whatever the reason is, I am sure that my parents do have faith in me to do great things in this world anyway.
My middle name Lawrence, I know was passed down to me from my grandfather. My grandfather's first name was Lawrence. He died though when I was 1 year old. It is kind of sad. I guess my parents wanted me to be like him.
As for my last name Danielson. I know that the name Danielson is a Swedish name derived from my Swedish ancestors. I know this because any last name that has a "son" at the end of the name is a Swedish name. Examples are Robinson, Jacobson, Olson.

I almost got named a different name but then my mom found out the room right next door to were she was had the very last name I did, and they were going to name their child the exact same name.Small world, so my mom and dad didn't want to get the babies mixed up so they picked out another name for me right before i was born! which I like better then what I WAS going to be named...so as for my name they just picked it because they liked the sound of it...

I think my parents only bothered choosing the best name for the wrong reasons. Which may be why I hate myself so much. I feel I'm not me, so I made me self a new name.

well, i'm happy you're ok. you are definitely a fighter. no, my name doesn't have a story behind it. my middle name was selected by my dad's co-workers. he did a poll and the majority won. that's it. nothing special.
