I have a good friend that I like very much but I have a few problems that I don't know how to approach her about. She lives right next to me and finds excuses to come over. Sometimes when I tell her I can't hang out she comes over anyway and stays for hours with my roommates untill I come home. I am pretty sure it is because she is insecure but I am not sure how to talk to her about it. One thing that just recently started to happen is she will invite me to go somewhere and then decide not to go after I have gotten ready and then come over to my house instead. She knows when Im home because she lives so close so I can't lie to try and get space...Please help lol

1- help her make new friends, that way she can cling to them
2- when seh asks to vist just say no, that she can't come over. if she comes over anyways stand up say, "i'm serious, i'm busy and can't have you over"
sit her down or write her a letter telling her that you belive that this constant coming over without invite or asking is getting out of hand.

If moving is an option, you might do that. If not, then don't agree to go out with her. Tell her you're busy, and go somewhere else.

get your parents to buy new locks , or just tell this friend you are doing some homework or some reason why she can't come over .
