I couldn't agree more Bex something done for you or a kind word at the right time means more than any money spent, my sister was a big one for making cards and making up poems silly ones she'd send them in the post to the kids and she'd make the envelopes aswell and all it use to cost was three stamps for each of them, they loved them, I've laminated them all now to keep them in good condition, didn't cost hardly anything but I treasure them they are priceless to me.

They definitely are Bex as material things are just that but something given from the heart which doesn't cost anything, or only a little, means so much more. I have learnt to make jewellery this year and have given my relatives a piece of jewellery I have made and each piece has love in it so I am hoping they will like what I have done. Happy Christmas Bex - the New Year is going to be so much better for you ,believe it and it will happen. Bless You Bex xxx

Bex all the time I prefer a gift that has been thought of it does not have to be a thing just a lovely gesture with heart felt meaning such as a picture done by my daughter would mean more than anything as time and effort for me has gone into it.

The best gift is the gift of your time with someone. We seem to make so little time for those special people in our lives thinking we will always have time tomorrow.Take time to slow down and enjoy your family and friends. My grandchildren made special gifts at my house for their parents for Christmas. It was a labour of love.I think their parents will be very surprised and very happy..Bex, like you said , a gift from the heart.MERRY CHRISTMAS to EVERYONE.

The best gifts are always from the heart. I don't feel like there's anything that I really want--at least not material. I think what I really want are hearts, you know just being with people and just spending time with them.

All the gifts that people "tear up" about are gifts that were from the heart...those are the things that mean the most...a homemade item...or more importantly time when it is needed most. Those are the things that count the most.
Things are replaceable...people aren't.
Love, hope, faith, charity...
