Theory??

No, that's not true. Atoms collide every time they explode a nuclear bomb. The universe has not come to an end yet.

The only thing that happens when atoms collide is they break apart.

On the other hand, I've heard that if "Matter" and "Anti-Matter" were to collide, then (according to theory) the universe could end. But no body knows for sure.

:)

No, single atoms collide all the time. No way you can have any quantity of matter (such as a rock, a planet, an elephant, or an oak tree) without atoms coming together.
However, if an atom of ordinary matter and one of anti-matter were to collide, they would both be annihilated and would become pure energy.
But that wouldn't affect anything but those 2 atoms.

So either you are mis-remembering what you heard, or whoever told you that was misinformed.

Fusion is what happens when atoms collide, it's been happening inside the sun and most other stars in the universe on a massive scale for billions of years now. We're still here.

No, it is not true. Atoms collide all the time.

After all, if you clap your hands, the atoms in one are "colliding" with the atoms in the other. Another example: scientists have been building and using "collider" machines for many years, to study the effects.

answer-This is only a theory of fools because when an Atomic Bomb blasts that time many atoms collide and if, they can't blast the whole Earth then how can two single atoms

Sorry, is not true. There are atoms colliding everyday in the sun and up in the atmosphere and we still exist.
