I work out of my living area and only can fly back once or twice a month. My wife is meeting new people, says she is working, but never has any money for bills. Maybe my imagination but she seems concerned when I tell her the dates I am flying back. Should I hire a PI to resolve my concerns?

absolutely. Long distance relationships are extremely difficult. "Surprising" her may be in order. Not telling her when you are coming will keep her a little more on her toes, and a little more reckless if she is doing something she shouldn't be. You will also be able to read her anxiety level if she doesn't like not knowing when you're coming. I mean, she knows you're not making her wait around for months on end, so there is nothing for her to be anxious about unless she is doing wrong.

First of all you and your wife live apart and you fly back once or twice a month, your wife has been meeting new people and never have money for the bills plus she is working, She gets concern when you tell her the dates that your comming back. If you want to find out what she is doing than you should come back unannounced.

best of luck

There are other options. You could show up a couple of days early, or you could just express your concerns to her. She may be able to allay your concerns, come clean on any misconduct, or you may be able to tell if she is lying, by her stress level. Also, consider checking telephone records, incoming and outgoing. Go through the bills, and scroll through the caller ID. Any numbers, you don't recognize, can be run through an on-line reverse telephone directory.

If you feel it in your gut, ask her first. This way if you are giving her a chance to be honest. Are there other signs? If you don't like her answer, you have to do what makes you feel the best which is either hire a P.I. or quit the relationship.

What's the point of avoiding the answers if the question haunts you?

If you can't trust her hiring a PI won't solve your problems.

Tell her your concerns and then make a decision about the trust issue.

put some cams in the house. You can put a video in the alarm clock, smoke detectors, and various other places. Put the recording device in the attic and walla.
could have them triggered by a motion detector possibly.

Trouble is that it may be very hard seeing what the video may possibly catch.

Go with your gut. Unless you are an overly possessive fool (which it doesn't sound like since you have a job out of town) there must be a reason you feel this way. I would, however, talk to her about it first.

Have a PI check her out before you tip her off. It will cost you less that way.

Well maybe you should just talk to her and find out what's going on. Communication is everything.
