Be persistent and never give up. They will break in the long run. It worked for me.

If you want an earring then I guess thats ok but not with your parents as I can see. I think that you should have a talk with your parents and tell them it will be really small and unnoticable. Plus girls like it more if it is small coming from me. If your parents say no, here is a crazy but could work suggestion. Grow your hair long and get it pierced and when the six weeks are up and you can take the earring out, cut your hair again and dont wear the earring around your parents. Good Luck!

Why not get one that is not actually pierced, one of those that works by magnets then they will get use to it and perhaps soften their opinion on the whole thing, but think about it carefully, if you change your mind later you will still have the holes, they may be cool now but what about if you are ever an important CEO and want them gone?

you probably can't. Wait until you are living on your own and then you can get what ever you want pierced without having to worry about what your parents will do to you.

Buy a small clip on and see what there reaction would really be. Don't get it done unless it's by a professional, you can run the risks of getting an infection.

tell them that you can always take it out once its healed while in their presence...and if you take a needle and poke it through ur ear then take clear fishing string and tie it through it give you a hole that you could put an earring through while at school but take it out b4 u get home(just make sure u clean it daily with dial or something!!) *Good Luck*

best bets is to sit down and talk to them about it. show them it won't interfere with your school, work, or family life. Usually parents understand when you show them it makes you happy and it helps in your self esteem. Becuasde self esteem means you work harder every day.
