what should i wear to a new years masquerade party?

nothing too crazy but. i dont really know much about masquerade parties!!

I tore up some old sheets into strips, and wrapped them around myself, and went as a mummy once, but it was surprisingly time consuming; and difficult to prevent the srtips unravelling, and I had to stick it together with elastoplast.. Wide bandages would be better, but you would have to buy quite a few.
