stitch81_2005 - Hmm, I think Muse has some femininity in them! Queens of the Stone Age is definitely masculine, except for their sexier numbers. Tool is very masculine, but something about Lateralus's focus on color ...

Feminine--Spice Girls. Heck yea, I was big into that girl power 10 years ago and I still would happily play their first 2 CDs.
Masculine- That's a tough one for my favorite styles of music as I like bands like Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, and a lot of classic rock like the Who. I wouldn't say that any of my styles have a super masculine sound to them. I see metal bands as masculine, and I just don't like to listen to that.

EDIT: I see how you thought that I meant that Franz Ferdinand, etc. were masculine. I meant that I didn't think they had a masculine sound at all. Sorry for the confusion!

For most "feminine," I would go with Caravan (70s Canterbury scene).

For the most "masculine," Symphony X wins hands down.

No feminine bands. Only heavy metal, death metal, power metal, and grind core. For example: Suicide Silence, The Faceless, Skinless, Whitechapel, Abigail Williams, Dragonforce, and some Metallica and Slayer.
