My teacher gives me alot of special attention. when we got our current events back i got a 100 and this other girl got 50 and she called her up and said why did you get 50 dont you see annie always gets 100. and then people started talking and she was like i'm gonna give all you homework except for annie. and the kids say how do you know annie wasnt talking and she says i was talking about annie and when i talk about her i look at her. this person has called my house, written me notes, given hugs, and much more "attention." the teacher asked me who i liked. what do u think is going on?

well, ours, at the highest is 50/50
Is this teacher a woman or a male?
if it's a male,,, that's pretty serious that he is writing you notes, giving you hugs, etc..

the teacher is probably giving you special attention...

A: knows something you don't know

B: (teachers have been known to do this before.)hitting on you

C: likes you, thinks your a great student,,,etc

there could be millions of other reasons.

Hard to say, your teacher may just really appreciate having one student who tries and is not a dolt. It may be wrong to read too much into this, but it has to be uncomfortable for you to be constantly compared to all the others. That's not really appropriate, just because it could make all the other kids hate you. But, any time you are uncomfortable, always go with your gut feeling. If you are uncomfortable, just tell the teacher, I am uncomfortable with all this special attention, and I don't mean to make you feel at all bad, but I'd rather not talk about my private life and interests. Then leave it at that.

Sounds as tho your teacher is majorly crossing the boundarys of a student teacher realtionship! If you are greatly converned about this, you should maybe bring it up with your parents in a casual kind of way. Tell your mum whats been happening and see if she thinks it has cause for concern. To me - it doesnt seem right at all - borderline creepy. It is very very strange indeed and your teacher shouldnt be prying into your personal life so much. Its unethical and its illegal and its downright weird. You need to talk to someone with some sort of authority like your parents! Good luck and if you feel threatened or comprmised at all, or put in an uncomforatble position with your teacher, go to your principal immediatley!!!!!

I think if she is making you uncomfortable, you should talk to your parents or guidance counselor. Harassment is defined only by you. If you feel violated in any way, it is valid. This teacher seems strange to me. Hope everything turns out okay.

It seems like she's picked you as a favorite. You probably gave her a good first impression. Also, if you are getting better grades, that could explain it as well. Your teacher seems to be taking it over the line though, and that is not fair to your or your classmates.

Thats definitely over the line, talk to a counselor about it or switch classes.
Is it a guy? Whats his age?
Make sure you're never alone with him.
