For some reason I noticed a yellow discolorization on my kitchen countertop in my apartment. I am not sure what it is from exactly but I tried getting it out with Fantastik but it didn't work. Would bleach work to get it out since the countertops are white or is there something else that will work?

Try making a paste with baking soda and rub it in and let sit for approx.1 hour and wipe clean. Good Luck!

My favorite is this stuff called Awesome.. and it is truly awesome! It's a yellow liquid that comes in a clear spray bottle. You can buy it a Walmart or the Dollar Tree. I haven't found anything it won't take out. It's a stain remove and a degreaser as well (which is great if you have a husband that gets grease on the carpet lol)

Clorox makes a cleaner called Clorox Clean-Up. It comes in a spray bottle and it really works great. Spray it on and let it sit for 5-10 min. then wipe off. You may need to repeat a couple of times if it doesn't work the first time. I even use it on stains on my white laundry.

I used to get it too...I still dont know what it was but I would use bleach, it takes a few different times for it to come all the way out just don't scrub too hard because you would end up cratching your countertop, good luck!

I used to have white counters and with kids, we always had kool-aid stains on them. I would spray "Clorox Clean-up" with bleach on it, let it sit a few minutes and the wipe it up. It "Always" worked.

I would pour a little Clorox on the stain and let it set a couple of minutes, then wipe off with a cloth or sponge.

Yes bleach would help. Pour a little directly on the stain and let it set for about one minute and then wipe it up.
