does any one know if all 98 honda accords have a transponder or chip?

1998 was the first year for the immobilizer system with the chip in the ignition key that prevents the car from starting if a mismatched key is used or the ignition system is attempted to be bypassed. All 1998 Accords have the immobilizer with the chip in the key as standard equipment...it was not an option.
