I just don't think a tux looks good on most guys, especially guys who have light hair for some reason. I think the outfit itself is just not very attractive, what do you think?

I don't agree. I don't think there is anything better than a tuxedo on a good looking man. However, the man has to be tuxedo material. A few years ago, when Tom Selleck was voted most handsome man-and he was-he came to one award's ceremony in this spectacular tux and even the straight guys had to whistle. And I don't mean those cheapie rent ones guys rent for the prom. It's like the difference between a really good suit and a cheap suit. I'm a casual person but a man in an expensive suit is soooo attractive. It takes all kinds of tastes for the world to turn around and that's why there is someone for everyone. . .

ok, if I saw a man at the grocery store in a tux, of course I would find it silly. Even the bible says there is a place and a time for everything. On special occasions to honor the day, one should dress accordingly. This is what a tuxedo represents, honor of the moment. Would you want your wedding day to be honored is such a manner or would you prefer that he show up in a flannel and jeans. It is not the every day suit, I will admit, and most men hate wearing them because they seem so costumy. In truth, it one of our traditions, to dress for the occasion. Every culture has their way to celebrate and be one with the occasion no matter how silly it may seem to others. This deserves respect.
I find the tuxedo sexy, because the men who choose to wear it, is rising to the occasion and giving respect to the day of the special event. It is our custom, to look our best on our special days.
What would you recommend that would excite you and please you on your most special day ever?

I think a woman needs to appreciate when a man gets all cleaned up and puts on a respectable suit, such as a tuxedo. I completely disagree with you, most men, when fit, look absolutely handsome in tuxedos!!

They don't call it a monkey suit for nothing.
Some guys can look ok, but most just look uncomfortable.
I would take a shirt and jacket over a tux anyday as far as looks go.

tuxes make men look cleaner and better than some of their regualr clothegs- a tux is like the only thing that can make some guys loks feminan. lol

I find it attractive when any guy dresses up.. suits mostly. Tuxedos, not so much. Just not a flattering outfit in general.

well whenever i see a guy friend of mine in a tuxedo i tend to start laughing at them they look like penguins or something
