I've had it about 8-9 times now (once in the car which was frightening) where I felt suddenly out of it, like I had fainted for a second or lost conciousness (only a really short moment) and then come round again. It seems to happen (I dont know how it could be related) when I breath through my nose rather than my mouth and usually when I'm sitting (either in the car, watching tv or something) Could I be not breathing in enough oxygen or something?

I know I don't have high blood pressure, but low blood pressure or dehydration could be a possibility, thanks. When i was in the car it was a very hot, windy day and I had been driving around a lot, I may have got quite dehydrated. I don't drink enough water, so I might try to drink more and see, if not I will go to the doctor. Any other suggestions are welcome.

see your doctor. That happened to me when my blood pressure was low. And happens to me if I have to much caffiene. But, not to scare you but it could be dangerous, at the wheel of the car.... see your doctor.

Go see a doctor. There are many things that can cause this. Some of them have already been listed by others. They are all guesses, since no one can examine you over the web.

There is too much of a pattern, you could injure or kill yourself or someone else.

GET THIS LOOKED AT ASAP! Don't play games with this kind of thing. If it is only a matter of high blood pressure then you'll be prescribed some meds and everything will be back to normal. Again, don't fool around with this, see your doctor as soon as you can.

Dehydration is possible. I would definitely go to the doctor, you could faint at a dangerous time (like in the car again).
