my daughter is just over 2 months and she still hiccups alot!!! i just let her go, she doesnt mind either. i do know that if youre about to feed your baby the hiccups will stop and when i let my daughter suck on the pacifier it sometimes stops it. but dont give your baby anything other than breastmilk/formula. baby still needs all the nutrition from the regular feedings and it is completely unnecessary to give baby any other type of juice or water (unless your doctor says ok.)

My baby would get so frustrated w/ hiccups that she would start to cry. I started to notice that after a couple seconds of crying, they were gone! So when we have a stubborn case of the hiccups we let sit her down and she may or may not start to cry. We feel a little bad but we pick her up straightaway. We let her cry for just a short time and, voile! or let him suck on your finger...u could try nursing him for a little bit...

Totally normal. My daughter had them all the time when she was younger. Now she is seven months old and only gets them when she has been giggling a lot. Ask your ped. about giving baby some gripe water, or about a half of oz. of warm water. That does the trick for my baby.

I am breastfeeding. When my baby hiccups, I let him suckle for a while until it stops. Usually it would take about a minute.
If your baby is on formula, you could try giving him some cooled boiled water in his bottle. This works for some of my formula feeding friends.

The hiccups don't bother babies and children like the do adults. It means the baby is growing. Just sit them out.

Don't worry, that's very common in newborns, you don't need to do anything to stop them and it doesn't bother babies so much. It will get better in a couple of months.

Just ignore them. They go away on their own.
