There are other shows like A Haunting (documentations of hauntings) on Discovery Channel & another show, Weird Places on Travel Channel.
So it's not just on Sci-Fi channel only.

I think it it is on the Sci Fi channel for the simple reason most people have never seen or come across a ghost and don't believe in ghosts. Add to that no major network would waste air time on a ghost show. I consider that a shame though because I know, from at least 3 encounters, ghost do exist.

Well, the only thing I can figure is there has never been documented, absolute proof that ghosts exists. Every time there's a possibility that a ghost may have been photographed, here come the people explaining what it could have been (a glare, double negative, etc.). Until a ghost is caught on film, with no doubt about what it is, such shows will be stuck on the Sci-Fi channel. For the record, I believe in ghosts.

From what my brother told me, it was a non profit ghost hunting team. But the sci fi channel was interested in their work and made it into a show. But their show and hunting is still non profit. They're all your average joes.
I believe in ghosts since i had some encounters and i also enjoy watching ghosthunters

Because the ghost hunters are fake.
I do believe in ghosts though. I just think the whole ghost hunters show is BS.
