It doesn't matter! The way I see it, between Bush messing up the war and causing all this unnecessary heartache, and vetoing a child health care, and pushing us deeper into Hell's dirty anus, I think that regardless, a Democrat will win!
There has been too much BS, too many screw-ups, and at least 12 times that congress tried to withdraw troops that were denied... he screwed it up for the Republicans for a loooooong time!

There is only one of any real worth and that is Representative Dr. Ron Paul.
Yes, he can win the general election. Once he gains the nomination the people of the country will begin to understand that all he wants to do is to return the country to the Constitution. This may well be the last time that such an opportunity is possible.
Without returning to the Constitution it is likely that they country will (during the next 20 to 30 years) sink into a third world status. In such an environment the young (of today) will have no jobs and there will not be enough money in government to support the populace.
If your young I strongly suggest that you begin looking at what Dr. Paul represents because he is the only bring light for your future.

Rudy Giuliani is my favorite republican candidate. I think that if he wins the nomination and debates his way past Obama then he has a good shot at winning the general election. Giuliani isn't your typical republican, the other candidates are running to satisfy their own ego, much like our current president did (and we know how well that's gone). Giuliani is running because he truly wants to see this country succeed and stay safe from the terrorist threats that plague this world. As my city's mayor he turned Manhattan from a garbage dump created by his predecessors to a respectable money making tourist attraction. He turned the west end of 42nd street from a haven of pornography and drug dealers into a mecca of stores and theaters which brought in revenue and created jobs from large companies like Disney. During his 2 terms as mayor, New York City's crime level fell to all time lows due to his fierce stance on crime. As an NYC resident I saw the city's skyline burning firsthand on 9/11 and no U.S. city should ever have that scene repeated again. In my opinion no other candidate has the leadership qualities and crime fighting experience he possesses. It's time for strength and stability. It's time for Rudolph Giuliani.

You are getting a democrat next time; the only question is whether it will be Hillary or Obama.
Giuliani's only claim to fame was 9/11. Huckabee is a fundy. Thompson is too right wing, and Paul is a fringe candidate.

Ron Paul, unfortunately he's way too progressive to be on the Republican ballot, so if he wants to win the election he should just run as a democrat

Duncan Hunter - No
I'm still contemplating Mike Huckabee - Yes
David P: Why should he run as a Democrat? All his principles, values and policies are traditional Conservative Republican views.
