Ok, so i've always gotten canker sores a lot. It seems like I constantly have at least 1 in my mouth. Usually I just ignore it and it goes away after a while. Occasionally I get some really painful canker sores but they too go away after some time.
Right now, I have exactly 7 canker sores spread out over my mouth. They are driving me absolutely crazy. It hurts to eat, drink, talk, smile, and even just open my mouth. It is really frustrating since there are just 2 more days until Christmas and I can't smile or eat anything. I've had these canker sores for a couple days now. I know they're canker sores because they're white in the middle with red, inflamed-looking around the white (open sores). I think I know why I have so many canker sores however. My mom recently bought a big box of tangerine oranges and I ate a ton of them, so now I suffer for it.

My question is, what should i do? Anything that helps relieve pain and/or make it heal faster? Oh, and in simple terms please? Thank you!

Syptic pencils always work for me.

They're available in wal mart and other places and they are little white crayon-looking things.

The instructions should tell you what to do, but incase they dont...

you just hold the tip of the pencil to the sore for like 20 seconds. you will feel a quick sting for like a second...and after that you'll taste something weird. I accually like the taste..but lol. It will puff out the sore and in a few hours, eventually kill it.

Hope this helps

Get some hot water and put some ordinary table salt in it-about a tablespoon to a half cup. rinse with that and then hold it in your mouth for a minute. Get the water as hot as you can and make sure the salt melts by stirring it good. I'ts called a salt water rinse and I know it sounds painful but it's really not. Do this about 3 times a day-morning-noon-night. It really works!!! It will help with the pain and will heal them fast. Good luck and Merry Christmas!!

i use this think called oragel. its a gel that you put on the canker sore and it stings and then numbs it for awhile. i also sometimes take a q-tip, put it in rum and then stick it on the sore. it stings for a little bit but i do that a couple times a day and it kills it and tada! good luck!

brush and floss more often. skip sodas and anything acidic (strawberries, oranges, lemons). drink lots of water and see your dentist.
