i used to do it like as many times as i could at JC Penny but then some police dude kept staring at me.... *sigh*

i do now but when i was i kid they scared me. i thought i'd get my shoelace stuck in the damn thing and it would suck me under and rip me to shreds or something. *shivers at the thought of it*

I used to love the escalator until 3 years ago my daughter who was just turning two got her finger caught in one.
I had just gotten to the top and set her down and she ran back to her father who was only a couple steps from being all the way up. She fell and her finger was stuck. I panicked and yanked it out and blood started pouring. We rushed her to the hospital and it was so sad to see her screaming. Luckily she didn't lose her finger.
Ever since then I don't take the escalator. Now I even freak out when my kids put their hands on the conveyor belt at the grocery store.
Actually it was this time of year and it was in JC Penney.

Yeah, they can be pretty fun to ride while you are at the mall. However, I live right next to a large outdoor shopping center, so I don't get to ride those escalators very often. They are fun to ride however.

I LOVE riding the escalators but the thought always comes to my mind that i could get my jeans or shoestring caught when i get ready to get off. Then i'm freaked out, but thats fun too.

lol...that's funny. yeah i love it. as a child, i remember i used to be afraid it would open up and swallow me. but as i grew older, i never took elevators. i love escalators! i once sat on the railing too. then the store manager told me i couldn't do that, so i stoped.

i like elevators too, but you cant see out of them
i like the MASSIVE escalators!! :D
and the ones that are just flat... like... whiissshhhh! at the airport :)
