the idle air control valve is the cause of the P0505 code. the valve varies the engine idle speed according to a command from the powertrain control module. when the idle cannot be controlled within the speed parameters its judged to be faulty by the computer.

the usual cause of a failure of the iac valve is a build-up of carbon inside the valve that restricts the airflow through the passages. you can try to take the valve off and clean it with carburetor cleaner/throttle body cleaner but usually you have to replace the idle air control valve.

the p1337 is for a loss of a signal from the misfire rpm sensor. the powertrain control module uses this signal to determine abnormal fluctuations in crankshaft speed that could be caused by a misfire. an abnormal rpm from an idle air control valve could cause the sensor to send an erratic signal. If your engine idle is erratic it will can cause this code. I would replace the IAC valve then clear the codes. chances are the P1337 won't come back.

Hope that answers your question
