OMG, ALL THE TIME!
I've been out of the closet..for awhile now. And dressed up, too...along with a few of my guy friends...the first time I went, I unintentionally looked Magenta-esque...second time, simply a whore.
And you'd better believe I participate! Time Warp all the way!!!!!

When the movie first premiered in 1975, it tanked. Then it hit the midnight movie circuit and quickly developed a cult following. First people started dressing as the characters. Then, people started yelling "call backs." The very first call back was to the line "Whatever happened to Fay Ray?" An audience member shouted, "She went ape ****!" For a while, the audience was torn. Some liked shouting things at the screen. Some prefered to sit and watch the movie. The people who liked to shout things, obviously won out. Then, one night, an audience member randomly got up and acted out an entire scene. This became more and more of a common occurance. Today, there are casts all over the world that act out the entire movie while the movie is playing.

LOL, I've been "out of the closet" for a while. Alas, I've never actually dressed up as a character -- though the last time I went, I unintentionally had Columbia's hair -- but I always dress up in *something*. And I participate hardcore, dress up my creepy guy friends in drag, etc. I go every month! XD

I LOVE RHPS, but I have never had the chance to go see a live show. We did it once in my friends den downstairs... what a mess we made!
My uncle has played the lead role of Frank Furter many times. I remember when my mom, who went back to college and graduated the same year I did in HS, we danced our butts off to the "Time Warp"!
It's the best Cult Classic of all time!

I have like 5 times. It is allot of fun. I was Magenta 4 times and the drag queen the last. Can't forget to bring your toast either.

I currently play Janet Weiss with Sins O The Flesh in Los Angeles. If I'm not performing as Janet, I usually can be seen wearing something slutty.

Yes a long time ago I used to go with my brother and his friends, I was too young to get in (had to be 17) so the used to lie about my age.

Never have.I was a trucker for 10 years and never went with my sis.She was an extra at her local theator and is a good friend of Kevin Cahoon who is a Broadway actor.She went to alot in NY and met alot of stars doing in there.Wish I had.:(
