Yes, as a matter of fact, they can. Sexual stimulation originates in the the brain of a mammal, not its testes, neutering only prevents it from reproducing and somewhat renders it docile due to a reduced amount of hormones in its system because of the removed reproductive organ.

Yes. And depending on the age when males are neutered, or the method by which they are neutered, they may continue to act as intact males, mounting and mating. They simply cannot actually produce sperm and inseminate the female.

Farmers use this trait in sheep by creating teaser rams, which have been vasectomized and cannot ejaculate, but produce the hormones that cause them to mount females in estrus. The farmer outfits the ram with a harness that makes a mark on the females that have been mounted, which can then be pulled from the flock and introduced to the actual breeding ram.

Yes it can. An erection is simply the tissue and blood vessels in the penis being filled with blood. Removing the testes only eliminates sperm and some hormone production... it does not cut off blood flow.

No. The hormones for sex come from that area of the body, so the animal no longer has a sex drive and can no longer get sexual "thoughts" or whatever animals have. I guess I should say the animal no longer has the hormones capable to want to have sex.
