Practice! Talk talk talk more and more. I do that to and my brother told me how come you stutter when talking to them but not talking to us. I believe it is because I know my brother and I don't stutter because I feel comfortable where as talking to a stranger you don't feel as comfortable because you don't know them. Every time you stutter don't stop keep going and remind yourself not to stutter.

The book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" from The Stuttering Foundation of America and also available from Amazon.com is what helped my uncles and cousins who stuttered. One uncle went to a speech therapist who specialized in treating stuttering and found that she used that book in her sessions. Check out their web site at www.stutteringhelp.org, too.

There seems to be a neurological basis for stuttering which can be compounded by anxiety, resulting in more or less stuttering based on the stutterer's subjective sense of comfort. Try singing. It neurologically circumvents the neurological pathway.
