i am international student.
i am looking for any graduate schools which don't need high GPA or GPA itself.
sometimes some graduate schools or some departments don't show mimimum GPA on their homepage[admission page].but they show, for instence, TOEFL score or the number of letters needed.
in U.S, are there a few schools don't need our undergraduate GPA?
thanks.

I'm a little confused by your example, which gave a very clear minimum GPA! Still, as has been said, many schools don't post a particular minimum GPA on their website, but that doesn't mean that they don't consider the GPA when making admissions decisions. They may just want flexibility to admit, for example, someone who got an extemely high GRE score and finished college 20 years earlier with a poor GPA, but has since proven his/her worth. Most schools give at least equal emphasis to GRE and GPA - some put much more emphasis on the GPA, but I've never heard of one ignoring the GPA. Frankly, if they let you in regardless of GPA, you shouldn't want to go there.

Most universities/departments do not post GPAs on their websites because there is no hard and fast rule for required GPAs. Most programs look at a variety of things such as GPA, volunteer work, letters of recommendation, GRE scores, your letter of purpose, your research interests and how they think you will fit in the department with the other students and faculty. In some cases, a GPA may be counted more, in other instances it may not be as important.

That said, I don't know anywhere that doesn't require a copy of your transcript, which will have your GPA on it. And if you did find somewhere that did not require a transcript, I would be very leery of that institution.

I hope this helps!

I don't know of any programs that accept lower than a 3.0 GPA for undergraduate. That's because you need to maintain a 3.0 GPA in graduate school to remain enrolled in the program - and graduate courses are a lot more challenging than undergrad.
