Fiona- beautiful name. I don't like G in Gillian, sounds better Jillian to me!

Fiona. I don't like the spelling of Gillian. I prefer it spelled with a J. Fiona is a very pretty name. I love Fiona Rose. That sounds really nice.

I do like Fiona, it's pretty. HOWEVER, I agree with the statement that it will remind people of Shrek. And I bet the name has become more popular since the movie came out.

The spelling "Jillian" is another option. I kinda like it better, just the way it looks. The only reason I would say this over Gillian is because people get images in their head when they see words, or they associate it with something they know. Gillian reminds me of fish gills. :( lol.

It is a pretty sounding name, though - both are!

Gillian... I've always liked it... it's different and pretty... not keen on Fiona... just sounds like an older woman's name.
