I am not a member of the Church of Rome but in fairness feel that the Sacrament of Confession is a good one
if properly used and not abused by the Church or the Penitent

For securities sake, the confession box needs a few pairs of diapers and a few pins by which the priest can prod the grinning little hypocrite whilst he poo's himself watching Cheries dentist extract some gold from a Scotsmans ****

More to the point.The hypocritical audacity of this person beggars belief.
How can anyone possibly profess to be so pious and yet wait until he leaves government to convert to catholicism?Did he not have the strength of his convictions before he was sacked as PM? oops"resigned".
I am surprised at the catholic church ,selling out to land this high profile figure.didnt many of his policies defy the will of the catholic church?Either he believed in the catholic teaching or he didnt.Blair is not a man of substance,he is weak,dishonest and hypocritical.Is he really worthy of the catholic church?
If I was reaalllllyyy cynical ,I would suggest that this is Blairs latest lunge for public affection and a favourable legacy.
Its sad and embarrassing.

Being of the Chatholic faith from being brought up in the religion.......confessions...telling a preist in a small dark place.that you had commited a sin....had bad thoughts...didn't like the nuns that were teaching you....say two Hail Mary's and 1 Our father..and bring on the rosmary beads...
