When it comes to Christmas songs I tend to like the old classics sung by the older singers, many of whom are gone now. I also love the newer song that is called "Mary Did You Know". It is quite beautiful and being played on many stations now besides the Christian realm. This week for the first time I heard on the radio a song sung by a Canadian girl who was 12 when she recorded it. It was quite beautiful and touching about a young girl who gave a bird to the Christ child on Christmas eve as a gift.. She had helped heal and save the bird. The singers voice is quite amazing and moving. A tearjerker.
Almost forgot.. On the lighthearted side I really love that Alvin the Chipmunk song. Don't know who sings it but every time it comes on when I am alone, I dance around and pretend I'm Alvin singing! I've never admitted that before! It's such a perky and cute song.
