Well my mom left to go to the store like 30min ago...and just now my brother kicked the ball, being the stupid person he is, and it went onto the end table and broke some vase...I am still laughing at that he is such an idiot. lol, anyways he wants to know how to fix a vase...if there is a way.

He better be prepared for
a) a grounding (cell/computer/phone/friend restrictions)
b) removal of soccer ball for long time
c) lack of trust
and most importantly.....
d) coughing up some major dough depending on how expensive the vase was.
And above all don't mess with the pieces!! ONLY use dust pan and brush, no matter how careful you think you are. And then vaccuum it. Even if it is linolem. Sweep it onto a carpeted area and sweeper, to get all the little pieces. Very important. Don't want lots of blood and trip to ER for stitches to complicate situation. Oh, and fessin' up right away will be helpful in the long run. Maybe call her on her cell (if she has one) and let her know. Chances are she'll be like "Oh are you okay?!" Might win some sympathy points. So fess up right away. (referring to brother)

I think this is a Berenstain story I read to my daughters when they were little. I think in the story it was Mama bears lamp.Anyways ,it is very difficult to fix a vase and still be able to use it as a vase. There is no guarantee it will be water tight.Your brother will have to buy a new one. I hope the vase held no sentimental value because that you can't replace with a new one. Tell your brother it is not about being able to afford replacing something it is about showing respect for other people's property, .Take care.

Emawee, it depends how many pieces it's in, but probably not much can be done. Sounds like your brother's gonna get a beatin' and then will have to pay for a new one. Thank you and good day.

There is no way to pick up all the really tiny shattered peices and turn them into a vase again. Your mom will know. He is going to have to fess up.

Buy a new one with the $1500 he has... and an apology would also help.

Don't tell him.
He'll get in trouble when your mom comes home to a broken vase.
..Perhaps call your mom so he can't blame it on you.
Let me know how it goes =]
