I want an action shot of them all looking like they are having a good time at an upper class shindig, preferably the 1890's era, and in authentic formal dress in a set recreated from paintings...

Tempt them with the offer of catalogue modelling jobs if the shoot goes well. The chickens should be ok, they're very vain creatures and are famous for their love of monocles and top hats.

Yes tell them that the local butcher is short of meat and the farmer is sharpening his axe. That will get them into line simple pose or butchers slab the choice is yours.

You'll have to come here!! I do it all the time. The cows find it udderly moooooving!! The sheep however get a little scared if you move up behind them to fast. I never could understand why!! hhuumm!! lol â¥

I would try putting some free food out, on a large table ,to draw them out.
