I have a crt monitor and a lcd monitor. i wanted to run the lcd off of my ati radeon 1300 card. and the other off the nvidia port on my motherboard. Can this be done? and if so how? thanks

you can do it.
i assume you have the card installed.
just plug both monitors in.
-right click on your desktop
-click properties
-click settings

you should see 2 black monitor boxes with numbers
-check Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor
-also this is where you designate your primary monitor.

yes, just install both cards and hook up the monitors. Then go into the video settings and chhose the setup you want. You can set it to show the same thing on both or have the screen split with half on each screen. There is also a way to set it up with 2 different desktops, but I'm not 100% sure how to set that up. You will ned a lot of system memory if you chhose to have them show different things.

Well, there's really no point, you will just get the same picture on both.

yes you can but you need high memory for the system to compromise it.
