I have a friend who's name is Jaalah (pronounced "jay-lah") and I have always loved it. I prefer their spelling rather than yours, but Jayla will probably be easiest if you want to avoid complications with spelling and pronunciation as much as possible.

Jayla is very pretty! Do you like the name Jadelynn? If you want a middle name for Jayla, what do you think about Kay? Or if you really want to be different, Jayla Mercedes stands out.

I don't mind the name Jayla, as long as that's how you plan to spell it. Any other spelling looks odd, as well as adding a -lyn to the end of it. But those -lyn names, (except for Madelyn) just bother me anyway. Anyhoo, I don't see anything wrong with Jayla.

Jayla wouldn't be one of my faves. But I do like unique names. Michaela, Shay Lynn,Norah Rose, Sage Marie,Maddox(boy/girl),Taylor,Reagan,Hala/Hayla,Shayleigh,Laura Elizabeth,Mary Rebekah,Victoria Anne,BreeAnn,Skyler,Soleil.

I think it sounds like yet another made-up name in the endless parade of "-ayla" and "-aden" endings. Slapping a different consonant on the front end doesn't really make it a great new name. :P

hmm..i dont know..i don't really adore the -la ending.

they r ok names. there r not a lot of ppl that have named their children that but its a good name. it also depends on the middle name too. they have to match!
