The female artist that I admire is Tarja Turunen. I really love her voice she did a great job in Nightwish, and She is unique!

oh and some bands like job for a cowboy, cradle of filth, slipknot, evanescence, avenged sevenfold, mudvayne, children of bodom, trivium are not metal! I don't know how you can call yourself a metal-head liking these wanna be bands. Stay Metal!

I've seen plenty here & there's no stigma against them as far as I could see. If anything, they're increasing in numbers in the last few years. More & more female fronted metal bands, etc. It's great!

One of my friends. She loves everything from Black Metal to Death Metal to Thrash metal. She dresses in normal metalhead cloths and alot of people have judged by how she dresses but really she is a really nice and funny person.

There are just a few. I don't really "look up to" anyone as a role model, but I really admire Anette Olzon, the new vocalist of Nightwish, because she is just a strong woman. Seriously, everyone will always compare and sometimes hate her because she is not Tarja Turunen. That's a lot to swallow, and she's handling it wonderfully.

Pantera, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica...all the old reliables.

I don't like, wear their t-shirts or anything (worshipping by t-shirt for me is reserved for AC/DC and only they get the privilege) so sometimes people are surprised when they see my iPod.

As far as female players go...I've always respected Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart. But I always loved Joan Jett. And Lita Ford.
