I buy new and used. If you look around at a thrift store you will always find a few bargains. I go there every payday just to look around and I have found some really cool stuff. Everything from housewares and nick nacks to clothing and books. You can finds it all at a thirft store. I do not see the point in paying $50 to $100 for clothing.

I buy mostly new clothes but only because I am a 2X and there are hardly ever used clothes in that size. I have shopped thrift stores before, but only if it is in pretty good condition and I know I will wear it. I would never buy used shoes however.

NO, he's not loopy, yet quite thrifty. Washing outfits from maximum thrift shops isn't needed. maximum thrift saved wash each and each of the textile products until eventually now placing them out on the industry. a minimum of, the thrift shops close to me do... I used to artwork at one different years in the past. the place I worked, all outfits replaced into washed, steamed and dried and then ironed if needed. An business laundry washed the clothing as one in all those donation as a replace of giving money.

I go to thrift stores all the time..You can find great clothes at reasonable prices..My theory is why buy something new in the store for 40 dollars, when you can find it at a thrift store for 4 dollars gently worn..I don't understand why people don't shop at thrift stores, especially for children..they grow so fast..I do buy new things at stores, but I LOVE thrift shopping!

I typically shop new, but my son has gone thru so many growth spurts that we shop at thrift stores sometimes. I just make sure to check for any stains or tears, and to wash them before he wears them. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, I had just never thought to go there. It is crazy actually because I used to take his clothes to Once Upon a Child and sell them before I had a neighbor with 2 little boys smaller than him.

I will only and ONLY buy new clothes. I've actually never been in a thrift store in my life before except for the time when I was donating my small clothes. And I don't plan on going there again.

I shop on ebay all the time. I have gotten some great deals on designer pieces. When my daughter was little, I always sold her clothes and bought her clothes at thrift stores. Usually, she grew so fast, she barely wore some of her things. No one has to know where you bought anything. I say bargin shop, who cares where.

I buy some new (department stores like walmart =P)
But then a lot are second hand. i go to multiple different second hand stores. Plus if you are going regularly and especially to a big second hand store chain (like value village), items are changed often and you can find a lot of brand new things. Or very lightly worn. Plus people shouldn't judge anyone by where they shop. If you can find nice looking and fitting things cheap then go for it! Why spend and extra 20 on a top if you don't have to.

I usually always get clothes from department stores but I have been known to stop at places like Ross which has new clothes for cheap. Sometimes you find nice pieces which are unique and cheap. It's not bad as long as the clothes aren't tattered, you wash them, and you don't buy underclothes such as underwear, bra's, and socks.
