First off you have to have a look. If you don't look good then don't even bother because that is the way Hollywood works. Also you have to have a personality. You can't be boring, shy or timid.
Next try and rent a local studio to record a demo tape. After that give it to a manager.
If you can't do that try and contact a talent scout near your area. If they feel you are good enough, they will get you the hook up.
If you can't do that then hire a manager to promote you and your image.
If you can't do that then go on american idol and try out there. Just be warned if you will get dissed, it will be public.

Not being able to sing helps. Not being able to dance is better. No personality and youre made.
