Ok, I go to the store most of the time with my mom because I want to get stuff that I want...well my twin borther never goes with us. He's trying to eat the stuff I pick out for MYSELF all the time. I said well maybe if you actually come to the store and pick out your own crap I wouldn't say everything was mine. I keep food in my room and hiding places so that he won't eat it. He says that's unfair because he likes some of the stuff i hide...well i picked out the stuff i hide so it's mine anyways. Don't you think it's fair that I hide the stuff I pick out, I picked out that food it should be mine not his to eat...if he goes to the store maybe he would actually have his own crap...Do you agree or not?

If the parents buy it, it is for everyone to eat and enjoy it doesn't matter who picked it out...If you buy it then you can hog it all you want ...My sister who is a year younger than me always used to hide food and snacks from me and the rest of the family when it really doesn't belong to her until my mom had to tell her all the time that it was the familys and this habit of hers annoyed me to no end

If you are talking about special snacks or treats then you should be able to safely keep them in the kitchen cupboard without your brother eating them.Why doesn't your brother ask your mom to pick up the snacks he likes when she is out shopping? I really wouldn't want you to store food in hiding spots in your room for fear of attracting insects or other pests. Take care.

Yes I do agree completely if he wants the snacks that you have he should go to the store with you and your mother and pick out the stuff he wants, otherwise he should ask your mother to bring back the stuff he wants. He sounds like a lazy boy and needs to stop touching your stuff. I agree you should hide your stuff.

Emawee, I agree he should go to the store with you and pick out his own food. In fact at the store he should wear a sign around his neck that says "I am Mommy's boy".

LOL I remember this with my own brothers. My mom always told us if you want something specific, come along. If someone else goes, then it's not yours and you are SOL. So get your lazy *** up and come shopping yourself. To this day I think she just wanted us to help her shop but whatever I got snacks and I hid them too. Tell him to go away.

If you paid for it, its yours. If your parents paid for it, its theirs. Normally when you go to the store with your parents, you pick out stuff, they pay for it, then everyone gets to eat it.
If you were only allowed to eat what you picked out....could you survive? How about we extend it to the house too... that which you did not pay for, you don't get to live in.... fair enough? And the streets to, if you don't pay taxes, don't you dare get on the street, or go to school.
Nope, he should get to eat anything your parents pay for, and if you hide stuff in your room, you will have mice and cockroaches before you know it.
