I've asked this before, but i still want to hear more input. Why the heck does it annoy people so much?

because it kinda tells you that the person who is posting it really wants people to tell them that they are beautiful.
but you know i kinda know the feeling of curiosity but i still wouldn't post my pic.

Because the person is just seeking attention. Someone will be like "im so ugly..but what do you think" and it'll end up being some gorgeous person. Its all for attention.

i dont mind, but it gets annoying when the same person keeps doing it.
