During Sadam's rule, Iraq had an autocratic democracy of sorts, but near top prosperity and education among Arab states and relatively unopressed women, fashionably dressed in European cloths.

Now, with the British leaving and the US getting ready to do the same, Iraq has Shia domination by terrorist groups, hardly living conditions and the women are being ordered to cover up under the hijab, or die.

When the US leaves it will surely be another Muslim hell like Iran and Afganistan.

After all that loss of life and money, have not Bush and Blair made it worse for them and us?

They have managed to turn a relatively free state into a Muslim Fundamental Terror Regime. Which is likely to come back and haunt them (and us) for years to come.
By the way Iran is not a hard line muslim state and there is quite a lot of freedom there at the moment, so lets hope that Bush doesn`t do the same to them as he has in Afganistan and Iraq..!!
