Love Elmo...Hate barney (he is so annoying) everything turns into a song with him. Elmo is awesome he is sooooooooooo cute!

Elmo is better when it comes to TV, Barney has gone through tons of people; one guy was hired as barney and ended up cussing at a child

barney sometimes acts a little weird and i usually see barney be more attracting to females. Elmo, i dont know, elmo is just cool. lol

I guess it depends on how old your kids are...Barney is good for kids between the ages of 4 and 9...maybe even 10 but elmo is good for kids between the ages of 2 and 4...maybe 5...just depends on your kids learning ablility and mentality...Elmo's cuter though...
