if you are asking this question, you need someone else to do it. no offense, but working with electricity can be very dangerous

ok first i have to say get an electrician to do it lol but should you be asking how he would do it ( wink wink lol) then this is how.
buy a new outlet that you want. buy some electrical wire, the same as is in the wall now it will probably be 3 core.
TURN THE POWER TO THE HOUSE OFF!!!!!!
then you need to remove the outlet from the wall leaving the wires intact for now.
get a hammer and hit the drywall to make a hole for the new one (crude but how its done)
thread the cable down from the top hole until you see it trew the lower hole and pull about a foot out to work with(make sure the top one doesnt fall through.)
now one at a undo the first retaining screw from the back of the plug that the wire goes into.
match the corresponding color of the old wire to that of the new.
strip an inch of the insulate off the wire by gently griping it with the cutting section of a pair of pliers on both old and new wires.
twist the exposed wires tightly together and trim the excess (you want about a 1/4 inch left)
then put the joined wire back into the switch and tighten the retainer.
repeat with all wires and tape up the back of the switch with electrical tape for proper insulation.
NOTE: MAKE NOTE OF WHICH WIRE WENT WHERE!!!
fix the outlet back onto the wall.
wire the new switch exactly as the old was making sure the wires are in the correct place.(you have a single set of wires on this outlet)
tape up as per the previous outlet and fix to wall.
turn the power back on and use!

if you were an electrician thats what you would do anyway lol
