Isn't that communist ideology?

2007-12-23 08:32:19 · 10 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics & Government Politics

Actually Jesus told his followers to give up all their possessions, a communist would still have possessions, it's just their rights and labor would belong to the government, to be distributed as it saw fit.

No. Redistribution of Wealth is not a "communist" ideology. Communism is an economic system in which all methods of production are owned by "the people" with no government in place at all. It has never existed in reality.

Nations called "communist" really had socialist economies. All methods of production were owned and controlled by the government. There is no "redistribution" through any method of taxation. All distribution of goods is planned and executed by a central organization - the government.

As far as the current American presidential candidates advocating redistribution of wealth, they pretty much ALL do. Who you choose to identify with depends on WHO it is you believe is entitled to what share of productivity and income. If you believe it's those with high destribution of wealth already, then pretty much all Republican candidates and Ron Paul are for you. If you believe it's in the country's economic interests to encourage all levels of workers to be able to earn more, then the Democrats are more for you.

Methods will vary by candidate.

Think about what you're asking. What is "redistribution of wealth"?

Most people do all the work. The only people to profit from their labor are the people who already have all the money.

This is not right. The people who do all the work should get most of the money.

But, since the people who own all the money also own the government, they can get away with stealing everyone else's money.

You think this is good.

It makes no sense.

Apparently, you'd love to be a serf in the middle ages, where you slave in oder to get the ocassional crust of bread, and the people you work for live in luxury.

Fortunately, not many people agree with you. Most people think that people who do all the work should get paid for it.

Redistribution? All the profit of our labor, and all our tax money is already being redistributed into the pockets of the people who own everything.

Why do you hate the middle class?

Hilary - universal health care, increase of tax rates for the wealthiest, etc.. Obama would be the 2nd. And yes, that is communist. And no, Jesus Christ did not advocate this.

Kucinich. Who is the closest to being a Fascist? Would that be McCain, maybe Thompson, or Huckabee? Any may fit as much as the others are Communists.

Witrhout a doubt it is Hillary Clinton. June 29, 2004,Hillary said, "we're going to take things away from you for the common good."

"It's time to replace an 'on your own" society with one on 'shared resposibility and prosperity.'.........Hillary Clinton

The same with energy, you know we can't keep talking about our dependence on foreign oil and deal with global warming and the challenge that it poses to our climate and to God's creation and just let business go on as usual, and that means something has to be taken away from some people.
...........Hillary Clinton, June 5, 2007

"I want to take those profits. And I want to put them in a strategic energy fund".....Hillary Clinton, Feb. 2, 2007

They say Hillary can paint a pig any color she wants. She is still a socialist.

Thanks, and "MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
