Well what does the little one like?
I'd suggest a few books, personally. Kids are too worried about 'omfg toys!' nowadays. Books help develop her vocabulary -and- use her imagination. Two birds, one stone.

You could get her a bulletin board for her room to hang notes, photos, etc. You could get her Bratz dolls for her. Or maybe a beaded or sparkly purse with lotion, lip gloss, perfume, inside of it. Another idea is a diary or journal, or maybe some jewelry.

They're these little stuffed animals that you can put in thier code and play online games. My 10 year old sister and all of her friends have them

dolls or favourite celebrieties like high school musical stuff. stuffed animals or gift cards. i don't prefer clothes though.
