.Benevolence could be more in abundance at this time of year !
I have spent the whole weekend dressed as Santa for the benefit of 62 'homeless units' this weekend, and the lack of funding and care for them really chokes you up when you see the poor kids crying with joy when something brings moments of happiness into their lives.
I`m certainly not looking for a pat on the back, but please people, whatever happened to the 'goodwill to all man ' scenario at christmas ?
Don`t just ignore them, some if not most, ARE genuinly needy !
Please just a small donation or helping hand wouldn`t go amiss would it ?
Put yourself in their shoes ! and have pity please.
Thank you all for reading this, but if you`d experienced what i have you`d feel the same way.

I've lived in a few homes in the past,- as a kid. It wasn't fun. I've never given money to santas in front of stores, because I don't believe that money goes anywhere. I did go and directly donate gifts and canned goods to families though. I don't have a lot of money, but I remember how bad Christmases, and sometimes life in general, could get. Peace

a very good point..... sometimes we get a bit too self absorbed in our own lives to think of the real needy kids and families, thanks for bringing it home! I will donate also if you have or know where they will accept paypal.

I give whenever I can. I never wait for a holiday to do what is needed. I write letters, contribute my time to others, and I try to give a cheerful smile to others. It is working. Thank you for being a very caring and loving person.
